IncidentOps: an API gateway security simulation
IncidentOps is an interactive simulation of a secure API gateway. You assemble a pipeline of security modules (authentication, rate limiting, a web application firewall and more), deploy it, and run it against simulated attack traffic to see which threats it stops and what each gap costs.
A four-mission campaign goes from building a first pipeline to surviving a traffic siege, hardening a sabotaged configuration and responding to a breach already in progress. Every run is deterministic: the same pipeline and the same traffic always give the same result.
The simulation runs entirely in your browser and needs JavaScript. Turn it on and reload to start. IncidentOps is a project by The InkByte Studio.
